This reflective window film works by creating a difference in light levels between the inside and outside of the glass. During the day, when sunlight is brighter outdoors, the exterior surface reflects light like a mirror, making it difficult for people outside to see in while allowing occupants to maintain their outdoor view.
For best results, the outside environment should remain brighter than the interior space.
Like all reflective mirror films, the one-way effect reverses when interior lighting becomes brighter than outdoor lighting. At night, we recommend using curtains, blinds, or shades for complete privacy.

I ordered one way mirror tint in blue but received transparent grey tint that you can see through both sides and has no mirror tint at all. I applied to my sliding glass door. I measured surface temperature and it is the same as my other sliding glass door that does not have any tint so it is not heat resistant either.

The film itself is quite stout, but the shipper destroyed the packaging rendering the first 4 inches of the product unusable. This is NOT RockRose's problem as their shipping tube was very thick, more than adequate for the product within.

I bought this product twice! I loved it the first time, but the second time I am extremely disappointed. It came in completely different packaging and the second oder was dirty and scratch and torn! Not to mention it took MUCH longer for the second order to get here. Please have someone reach out to me to discuss this further.
