The meter features three testing modes: visible light transmission (VL), ultraviolet light transmission and infrared light transmission. This combination of technologies allows you to find out how much UV light filters through a film and if it exceeds the standard for safety. And when it comes to infrared transmittance testing, only one device on the market can help you find out if a window tint is adding infrared heat to your vehicle, making it uncomfortable for passengers but even more uncomfortable for plants!
